Kenya Cuisine

We had to pinch ourselves to believe it wasn't a dream! Absolutely wonderful.

Enjoy the highest standards of accommodation

There is an excellent selection of international restaurants that serve a wide variety of cuisine, especially in the capital city. Over the years many modern and reputable coffee houses and burger joints have emerged (such as Steers, Spurs, Dorman's and Java House).

If you fancy tasting traditional Kenyan food it includes staples such as maize, cassava, chapati, savoury bananas, rice, spinach and beans. These are often accompanied by vegetable stew & roasted meat. However, the food on the coast is heavily infuenced by Indian and Arabic flavours. It is often based on seafood cooked in coconut milk.
